I have a tendency to forget which books I’ve read. I know, it’s kind of shocking, isn’t it? But really. I’ve read so many books throughout the years that I have no clue how many I’ve read, or which ones I’ve read. I’ll occasionally think of a storyline from a book that I read years ago and think “Wow! I’d love to re-read that!” only to remember that I have no idea who wrote it, what it’s called, or even what the characters’ names were. This usually leads to several posts on Twitter or Facebook asking “Hey does anyone know a book where a guy or a girl does this thing….” Sometimes people know what I’m talking about and sometimes I have to spend hours on Google before giving up because my memories of the plot are just too vague. So, I’m going to start keeping track of all the books I read. And I’m going to do it here! This way, you can keep track with me! And maybe jump on my ass when I don’t post the review within a few weeks, as I’m prone to do (which is why I have 20 reviews to write – sheesh!)

It’s a new year and that means a new list of books! I’ll leave 2011 up for now (I’ll probably take it down in February… or if the menu looks funky – whichever comes first, LOL). School will be starting soon, so I’ve added a few new reviewers, which means another column on the read list – the “Who read the book” column! Yay!
